The Wolves of Wolf Creek enjoy every minute with the humans.
They often enjoy it so much as you see in the pictures and if your lucky if
you can catch it on film. It is important to say...
There were absolutely
No Humans Hurt during the taking of these pictures.
There are always volunteers and staff in with people when they go out with the wolves.
The next series of pictures are of Kenai our 3 year old Canadian Grey Wolf and his humans.
Anyone that has ever been here knows the story of Kenai. He has his 3 1/2 humans that are allowed in his enclosure
Sonny, Brian, Steve, and me being the 1/2. I am lucky if I can even stand inside the enclosure. He wants nothing to do with females, but
he tolerates me because I feed him and he sees me everyday.

The first picture is not what it looks like. It was one of those shots you didn't even know you got until you pull it up on the computer.

Waya is Kenai's bratty sister. She kept trying to come around Brian and Kenai  would chase her off. It was quite comical and we were
getting a kick out of watching the two of them argue over Brian. Then at the point when the picture was taken he had enough and turned
to let her know she better back off, and of course that was that one in a million shots you get.  If you look closely at the picture you can
see him looking at her, all the time Brian is laughing at the 2 of them.

We are very careful during these times and Brian and the others know when to make an exit out if it gets to be too much. Brian, Sonny &
Steve are truly Kenai's humans and would never hurt any of the 3 that go in with him. It is under strict observation at all times.
These men have been coming here for years, and Steve has only been coming for about a year. It is only the staff that are allowed inside
this enclosure. They know they must always keep it in their minds that they are wild animals, and they do have the knowledge when it is
the best time of day to enter this enclosure

So enjoy the pictures, as Kenai plays with his HUMANS.
"Here let me help you down...."
"Oh yes this grass is lovely"
"Your back, Your back, I missed you"
"Here let me fix your hair"
We have a lot of fun with our wolves, but we NEVER FORGET that they are wild animals, and
like any wild animal you have to give them their space and never take them for granted!!!
