New Arrivals
What a wonderful last couple of days!!!!
Tuesday afternoon Joni and her crew from Wolf Hollow...
Spencer, Jess, Nicole, & Erin came to claim their new family members.
Wednesday proved to be a hard day for all of us. Up bright and early the girls
needed to get started on their long 15 hour journey home and I cried when 5
of the 6 left, and well momma.. had to let her go and spend sometime in the
nursery so she could be sure her babies weren't there anymore.
When we put her back with her pack this evening, she was okay.

I want to thank Monty from Wolf Park, for putting a
bug in Joni's ear that we might be able to give her a
litter this year. Talkin' about timing....
We were getting ready to put our female back with the
pack and I took the chance that there was tiny hope
that when I put Loki her mate in with her that she
still had a little of that 8 day window available. Well
the window had a crack and Loki did his fatherly duty
and wa-la 6 babies, 4 boys 2 girls
So they planned a trip to include stopping at
Wolf Park to see a dear friends and then another 3 hour
drive to get here. What a fun group of girls. They
camped out on the floor to unwind as they watched
Avatar. Guess who was asleep first...Joni
We just aren't as young as we use to be.. huh kiddo?
It was a sad good-by but we gained some new family
here at Wolf Creek Habitat.
I know they will take great care of their new babies and
keep us all updated on their lives.
Now on a very special personal note:
I want to thank you so much for your donation to
Wolf Creek Habitat....I am speechless, I always know
that things happen for a reason and I believe it lead
you all to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and paws!
