| Wolf Creek Habitat & Rescue Volunteer Application Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Wolf Creek Habitat. We currently require that volunteers not be younger than 17 years of age. About our Volunteer Program We are a Habitat & Rescue that gets no funding and strictly depends on donations to survive. One donation is the gift of time and energy from volunteers. Volunteers are the integral part of our Habitat. We could not operate without your assistance. We are small in size; therefore, we rely on volunteers to assist with various activities regarding care and maintenance of our packs and sanctuary. Volunteering encompasses many activities including transport of animals when needed, fund-raising (from bake-sales, to collection cans at businesses cash registers, to securing discounts on supplies with local vendors), compound building, kennel cleaning, training rehab activities to bonding. |

You do not have to volunteer all the times listed, however, it will give the staff a good idea when we could use you most effectively. The undersigned also agrees that any photographs taken or audio-visual recordings (including film or videotapes) made at Wolf Creek Habitat will be used only for private non-commercial purposes, and that no other use (whether commercial or non-commercial) of such photographs or recordings will be made without the prior written authorization of Wolf Creek Habitat. Applicant Signature________________________________________________ Date __/__/____ Once you agree to be a volunteer you will come out and observe for at least 3 full Volunteer Days before being allowed to enter any of the enclosures with the wolves. You will need to observe all the packs and individual wolves and learn their personalities before entering any of the enclosures. If by any chance we do not think you are ready we have the right to delay that. We also feel that if the wolves are intense or uncomfortable around you will never be allowed to enter the enclosures with the wolves. This puts us all on in danger. As a new volunteer you may expect to spend some time watching experienced volunteers and staff handling wolves that you may not be able to meet for various reasons; noticing how these handlers conduct themselves in such is an invaluable tool. As you become more experienced your opportunities for “wolf time” could increase.
